How to crack board exams with good score?

This post is for every student who is looking for some tips and strategies to prepare for their board exams and want to secure good marks. It is very difficult to score well in board exams if your time management skills are not good or you work without strategies. But if you want to get good marks you need to work hard from the beginning of the session of your 10 th or 12 th std. In my knowledge, most of the students start their preparations just before two or three months of board exams and aspire to score good marks which is just next to impossible. Although there are some students who start preparing three months before exams and score well but this is possible only if you are fully prepared with your notes and now in these three months all you need to do is just read these notes for revision.

Here I am sharing with you some tips and strategies to prepare for your board exams -

  1. Strictly Follow Your Course Book – Many students trust reference books in comparison to their syllabus books (NCERT for CBSE students). I am not saying, do not consider reference book at all but first you must complete your syllabus through your text books and then if you have time remaining with you or for more practice you can go with some good reference books. Trust me I noticed many high scoring students who always stick to the course text books to study. But what I suggest you personally is that if you are preparing for your boards whatever 10 th or 12 th you should stick with your syllabus books only.
  2. Always Know Your Weak Points And Be Careful – You must know your weak points and try to overcome it as soon as possible and make them strong before your board exams. You can take help of your teachers and best of all take out your test papers, pre-board answer sheets etc. go through it and check what type of mistakes you normally make and keep them in mind while writing your final exam. Work on each subject and promise yourself not to repeat the same mistake in boards. The best way to improve your mistakes is to practice more & more and always check your answers before giving sheet to your invigilator.
  3. Proper Time Management – If you are preparing for your boards exams then your time management skills should be strong. You should know how to make proper utilization of the limited time given in exams, there you will get only 3 hours to show what actually you have prepared the whole year. But trust me,these 3 hours are more than sufficient if your preparations are up to that level. If you are really willing to get 90+ then for that you have to spend at least 8 to 9 hours with your books. I know this sounds like crazy and boring but scorers did that and I am sure will always do that when it comes to their result. Divide your study hours and allot equal time to each subject so that you can take every subject daily and you will not get bored. According to me the best way to learn is through writing, learn and then write it as this technique will boost your writing speed also.
