Board Exams ( Part - 2 )
How to crack board exams with good score?
This post is for every student who is looking for some tips and strategies to prepare for their board exams and want to secure good marks. It is very difficult to score well in board exams if your time management skills are not good or you work without strategies. But if you want to get good marks you need to work hard from the beginning of the session of your 10 th or 12 th std. In my knowledge, most of the students start their preparations just before two or three months of board exams and aspire to score good marks which is just next to impossible. Although there are some students who start preparing three months before exams and score well but this is possible only if you are fully prepared with your notes and now in these three months all you need to do is just read these notes for revision.
Here I am sharing with you some tips and strategies to prepare for your board exams -
- Take Help Of Previous Year Question Papers – Previous year exam papers can really help you to understand exam format an level of questions. A student who wills to score good in board exams should always solve previous year papers. You can easily download it from internet in pdf format and take print it costs nothing as compared to those big reference books. Solving these papers before final exams will help you a lot and make you feel more confident to face the board exams. but I suggest you not to see solutions directly, first solve it on your own and then get it checked by your teacher who can find out your mistakes, then again solve the same paper and this time try not to repeat the same mistake again. In this way you can practice a lot and also understand the correct way to write answers. According to me a student should solve at least 10 to 15 previous year papers before going for board exams.
- Poor Handwriting Can Kill Your Marks – If you are aspiring to score 90% in boards then you must pay attention to your handwriting and neatness while giving your exam. Your answer sheet should be as neat as possible because this is the only thing on the basis of which you will get marks. Think, what will happen? If teacher will not be able to understand your answer just because of your poor handwriting and he/she will cross the answer directly. And on the other hand if your handwriting is quite impressive,it can give you some extra marks for neatness also. So why not work on it? While answering your presentation technique should be very impressive, your way of writing the answers etc. can help you to get some extra marks for your presentation. You can ask your teachers about hoe to write answers and take some presentation tips from them.
- Relax Yourself The Night Just Before Exam – Do not take tension or stress just before your exam. If tomorrow is your exam, sleep as early as possible as this will help you to charge your brain for the next day. Forget everything, think positive, do not try to read or learn anything new. Feel confident, do not study for the whole night at all as cracking board exams is not one night fight, avoid revising notes or reading new chapters or books as this will lower your confidence level and you will feel more depressed. Always think I am ready for the exam, I have prepared in my best possible way. Take full rest and relax your mind and body so as to perform well in the exam hall.
