JIPMER Counselling 2019: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry conducts a national level entrance exam annually to facilitate admission into MBBS course of JIPMER, Puducherry or JIPMER Karaikal colleges. An approximate of 220 seats will be made available for successful candidates through JIPMER 2019 MBBS exam. As per the official notification, JIPMER 2019 will be conducted on 2nd June 2019 (Sunday) in two shifts. The merit list of successful students who cracked and entered the merit list will be published by 21st June 2019. Followed by JIPMER 2019 Result, the first round of JIPMER Counselling 2019 will take place between 26th to 28th June 2019 (Tentative).

The Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is considered as one of the prominent institutes of India offering admissions in different medical programmes. The admissions in JIPMER MBBS program will be done through an entrance test conducted by the institute.
Final Counseling and Closing of Admission : 26th September 2019
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates with Indian nationality and NRI & OCI candidates can apply.
- The candidates must have completed 17 years of age in the admission year.
- Those who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 60% marks (50% for OBC/SC/ST/OPH) taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology subjects can apply. A pass in these subjects along with English subject is also mandatory. Appearing candidates can also apply.
- For general category OPH candidates, the minimum marks taken together in the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination should be 50%.
